Type of grant

• Single centre study - both academic and non-academic centres can apply; up to 2 lakhs
• Multi centre study - collaboration between different centres & different disciplines encouraged; up to 4 lakhs

  • Students pursuing MBBS/DNB/MD/DM under the mentorship of KES member
  • KES member
• Multi centre study
  • Different centres & multiple disciplines (Principal Investigator - KES member)
  • Different centres of same discipline (Principal Investigator - KES member)

Deadline for submitting application

On or before 11:59 PM, April 15, 2024.

Process of selection

• Proposals received will be reviewed, scrutinised and scored by experts in the field (who are not members of research committee)
• Reviewers will be blinded to the study sites and researchers’ identity
• Chosen proposals will be invited for a formal presentation [proposed date - Last week of April]
• List of final grant awardees will be uploaded on the website within a week; applicants will also receive a response individually.

Expectations from grant winners

• Funds will be released only after IEC approval is submitted
• Principal investigator cannot apply for a second grant until current study is completed
• All awardees are expected to submit an interim report midway of study period along with details of usage of funds
• After completion of study, final results should be presented at Hormone Rhythm, the annual KES conference
