BENDS (Bangalore Endocrine and Diabetic Society) which was functional all these years and founded by Dr.Prasanna Kumar KM and all other Senior Endocrinologists from Bengaluru had been actively involved in conducting academic meetings every month. BENDS was not a formal registered society and did not have office bearers and a structured format. We, most of the Endocrinogists met on 11th July 2017 to form Karnataka Endocrine Society under the aegis of Endocrine Society of India and have a structured Endocrinology Organization and regular academic activities in Karnataka.
First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to my predecessors for their outstanding leadership and contributions to our society. Their dedication has paved the way for our success, and I am committed to building upon their achievements to further advance the field of Endocrinology.
As we embark on this journey together, I want to emphasize that our strength lies in our collective expertise and unwavering commitment to excellence. Our society comprises distinguished researchers, clinicians, educators, and healthcare professionals who have made remarkable contributions to the understanding and management of Endocrine disorders. By harnessing our collective knowledge and collaborating effectively, we can drive significant progress in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of endocrine-related conditions. This is a new journey, journey with our website to spread awareness, knowledge and solution on several key areas that I believe are of vital importance for our day-to-day looking after people with Diabetes and Hormonal disorders.
I am genuinely excited about the website, I am confident that by working together, supporting one another, we can make significant impact in the field of Diabetes and Endocrinology and improve the lives of countless individuals affected by Hormonal disorders.
